Yard & Garden Blend

This is our best selling soil. Commonly used for lawns, gardens, flower beds, and other projects where a higher nutrient soil is desired. Yarden & Garden Blend soil has much higher organic matter and nutrient level than our Standard Topsoil. Because its made onsite, it normally costs less too. Yard & Garden Blend is a blend of composted yard waste, blended with topsoil and sand to provide a texture that is easy to work with and help balance high nutrient levels. Yard & Garden Blend has been screened to filter out large debris; however small pea stone and other organic materials (such as small wood chips) are likely to be present. This small debris often becomes more visible after rain or sprinkling, when water pushes fine material to the bottom layer, segregating larger material to the top layer. This is a normal characteristic of Yard & Garden Blend and does not affect soil in normal situations. If desired, use a rake to remove debris. PH levels typically 7-8. Approximately 1,600lbs per cubic yard. Little variance batch to batch. Available for pickup and delivery (available all locations).
