Attention! Avoid colorant washing!
The colorant from color enhanced mulch does not dry well while sitting in large piles. Manufacturers recommend avoiding installation of color enhanced mulch if rain is forecasted within 24-48 hours (avoid sprinkling). Install in these conditions at your own risk. No corrective action will be taken if colorant washing occurs. If colorant washing does occur, usually only the top layer is affected. Color can often be restored by raking your installed mulch.
